The Traveling Carnival
Saturday night is all about relaxing with the family. So, when my youngest daughter made a special request, we happily agreed and headed to the traveling carnival on Hercules Street, Banjarbaru. The carnival was set up right on the spacious grounds of the Air Force's Dirgantara soccer field.
The atmosphere was incredibly lively, filled with all kinds of attractions—from games of skill and fun rides to the classic carousel and even spine-chilling thrill rides. On top of that, the aroma of various traditional snacks filled the air, tempting us to try a little bit of everything.
The main highlight for my youngest daughter was the haunted house. We bought tickets so she could brave the horror zone alongside her older brother. As for my spouse and me, we simply watched from the sidelines and waited for them at the exit.
In the end, nights like this remind us that family happiness doesn't require grand plans or expensive trips. Sometimes, all it takes is a simple stroll through a local carnival, shared laughter, and watching our children create lasting memories together.
